Postcards from the future is the 3rd part of our theatre triology about the notion of home. 3 characters inhabit the edge of the apocalypse. Here, an artificial landscape has reclaimed the land formerly occupied by a diverse population, feeding of that which was left behind. Destruction often has the most redemptive potential and something quite melodical is starting to grow from the ashes. The stageplay is based on Swetlana Alexijewitsch’s novel Tchernobyl – A Chronicle of the Future which has recently won the prestigious Peace Prize awarded by the German Book Traders.
